The first of many posts

Daniel Marques has been pushing me to start this blog for the past year and the day has finally come.

As of today I am a proud parent of a Suri, a sweet ebony silver Chinchila. This is actually my first pet--I couldn't be any happier. We purchased Suri from an independent breeder in CT for a whopping $100--however its accessories cost over $125. What strikes me the most is that the pet store could have rung up a bill for $300 and we still would have proudly bought it. My father always tells me "You want your customers you buy your product, you don’t want to sell it to them.”

My two partners (Daniel Marques & Matt Lauzon) and I are launching a new ecommerce diamond engagement ring company called Paragon Lake (http://www.ParagonLake.com). By offering high quality diamonds and the latest ring designs we truly believe that our customers will have a smile on their face when they BUY their engagement ring.

Paragon Lake will launch at the end of June so keep your eyes peeled.
